In addition, the Honeywell plant also meets the high requirements of the automobile industry's ISO/TS 16949 standard.

Six Sigma Plus
Six Sigma is the corporate culture of Honeywell Inc. The company-wide strategic initiative is aimed at reducing costs and increasing sales. Six Sigma leads to the optimisation of processes, rendering them more efficient. Six Sigma makes it possible to identify and quantify errors in processes, thus enabling their subsequent eradication. Errors always apply when a process fails to meet the expected results. Six Sigma corresponds to a very low error rate and is the statistical measured value targeted by the applied method. In contrast to standard business process optimisation projects which are carried out by external consultants, internal staff are trained in Six Sigma so as to enable them to disseminate the method throughout the company on their own initiative.
