HONEYWELL ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE FOR NYLON 6 RESINS

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J., March 6, 2008 -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Resins and Chemicals announced today a price increase of 9 cents per pound over the current price of nylon 6 resins, effective with shipments April 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. This increase covers all extrusion grade, fiber grade and neat nylon polymer for spinning, film, and compounding applications.

The company re-evaluated its pricing on specialty polymers nylon products because of the continued high costs of raw materials and increased packaging and transportation costs.

Honeywell Resins & Chemicals produces the nylon feedstock caprolactam and other chemicals, specialty polymers, and ammonium sulfate fertilizers.
