Performance Products is a global supplier of high strength and
specialty fibers and solutions for a broad range of industrial, consumer and
military uses. The business offers a full spectrum of products and
technologies. This enterprise consists of three segments, Advanced Fibers and
Composites, Specialty Films and Specialty Additives.
Advanced Fibers and Composites utilizes Spectra® fiber to produce one
of the world's strongest and lightest manmade fibers. This segment also
features Shield technology, which, while originally developed utilizing only
Spectra® fiber, has evolved using other high-performance fibers such as Aramid
fiber, in our Gold Flex® product. Worldwide, Spectra® fiber and Shield
technology, along with Aramid Shield technology are widely used in applications
from Armor (Helmets, Vests and Vehicles) to Cut Protection to Rope, Cordage,
Netting and Fishing Lines.
Honeywell Specialty Films is the world's leading manufacturer of
advanced PCTFE, BOPA, OPA, ONY, BON and ON films for healthcare, food
packaging, industrial, aerospace, and specialty applications. We provide
complete R&D and application development support to ensure the successful
implementation of any application utilizing any one of our varieties of
products.
Aclar® fluoropolymer film is one of the
world's best transparent, moisture barrier films. Aclon™ fluoropolymer resins provide highest moisture
barrier of any clear thermoplastic resins. In addition to good
processibility, Aclon™ resins offer
superior chemical resistance, outstanding electrical properties and cryogenic
temperature crack resistance. The excellent barrier, strength and flex-crack
resistance properties of Capran®
and Capran® Medallion™ biaxial
oriented nylon films make them ideal for a variety of applications, including
food packaging, book covers and balloons. Aegis® resins dramatically extend the shelf life
and flavor-preserving capabilities of multi layer PET bottles while also
allowing for excellent resistance to delamination, exceptional clarity and ease
of processing and recyclability – all while remaining cost competitive. Capran® Heat Stabilized Nylon Films are
known for their pinhole resistance, easy release and chemical resistance. OxyShield®
Oxygen Barrier Co-Extrusions provide excellent flavor and aroma barrier in
addition to high strength and chemical resistance. PMP (Polymethylpentene) Film makes an excellent
release film in aerospace and rubber manufacturing. MAP-Shield® AF Barrier Film With Anti-Fog improves
package appearance and product shelf life while maintaining high
printability.

customers develop personal care products that perform better and because we
provide a wide variety of compositions, properties and particle sizes, we can
meet virtually any application requirement. Rheochem® is a global
market leader in customized lubricants for the vinyl processing industry.
Rheochem® branded solutions are customized formulations that deliver
significant improvements in processing efficiency and product quality. Lumilux® luminescent pigments are the
leading solutions for photo luminescent anti-counterfeiting markers,
phosphorescent after-glow safety signs and 'glow-in-the-dark' novelty items. We
offer customized products and applications expertise to deliver the best
