Honeywell 2007 HF Roundtable

The HF Roundtable is a biennial, three-day industry event that Honeywell hosts for its customers. The HF Roundtable includes various topics and updates on safety, security, and medical issues, and is a great networking opportunity where customers can learn from other HF users and industry experts.

Honeywell's 2007 HF Roundtable was held June 12th -June 14th, 2007 at the beautiful Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. More than 170 Honeywell HF customers, spouses, presenters, and industry suppliers attended.

This year's Roundtable was different by design - the world of HF is undergoing dramatic change, and we thought it important for our customers to gain an external perspective of their industry. We invited speakers from its vast network, including HF users, the US government, industry suppliers, and Honeywell's own R&D group. Customer representatives from each HF end-use also spoke on their specific HF application. The overwhelming positive feedback to the Roundtable suggests that customers truly appreciated this broad range of speakers and topics.

The Roundtable was certainly not all work… On Wednesday afternoon, during the "activity" portion of the event, most Roundtable attendees could be found touring the grandeur of the Biltmore Estate, playing golf, fly fishing, or taking a relaxing float trip down the French Broad River. Meals were an excellent time for attendees to meet the speakers, members of the Honeywell team, and one another, especially during the elegant dinner on Tuesday evening and the Southern country buffet, complete with a New Grass Band and bonfire, on Wednesday evening.

We would like to extend a sincere thanks to everyone who attended the 2007 Roundtable and helped make it a success. Hard to believe, but planning for the 2009 HF Roundtable will begin shortly. 2005 HF Roundtable
The 2005 HF Roundtable was held June 21-23 at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia and was a huge success. This symposium attracted 119 participants from 38 different HF user companies coming from sites all over the US, Canada and Mexico.

Highlights from the symposium included the segment on Honeywell's Geismar Security Showcase, which allowed our participants to view the many security upgrades that have been implemented at the site. Participants also found Dr. Mike MacKinnon's update on specialized HF medical treatment of great interest. The session on Materials of Construction in HF Service was also very beneficial to our customers.

2003 HF Roundtable
The 2003 HF Roundtable was held July 28-30 in Westminster, Colorado.

2001 HF Roundtable
The 2001 HF Roundtable was held August 6-8 in Coronado Island, California.

1999 HF Roundtable
The 1999 HF Roundtable was held August 9-11 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
