HONEYWELL FURTHER INCREASES PRICES ON GENETRON© REFRIGERANTS IN EUROPE, THE MIDDLE EAST, AND AFRICA

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, April 10, 2008. Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe B.V. announced today a further price increase for its GENETRON® refrigerants to all customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Further to recently announced price increases, the prices for Honeywell’s refrigerants will be increased by 7% as of May 1, 2008, or as soon as agreements permit. There will be no pre-buy period.

The price increases are necessary since the global market dynamics for raw materials have led to significantly increased manufacturing costs. In particular the cost of sulphur, one of the key raw materials in the manufacturing process of fluorochemicals, continues to go up.
