Capran® films from Honeywell are simultaneously biaxially oriented nylon 6
films. Honeywell produces these films in the United States and they are
available worldwide. These films are well suited for packaging applications
requiring excellent strength, toughness, clarity and oxygen barrier. In
addition to the base Capran® nylon films, Honeywell also offers Capran® with a
variety of specialty coatings to better meet our customers' unique
needs.
Capran® 1000, 1200, 1500, 2500:

Biaxially Oriented Nylon Film; available in gauges of 10,
12, 15, and 25µm.
Retort Grade of film is available and is designated with 'RT'. |

Capran® 1200M, 1500M, 2500M:

Biaxially Oriented Nylon Film with a polymeric coating for enhanced adhesion
for inks, coatings and metallization; available in gauges of 12, 15, and
25µm.

Biaxially Oriented Nylon Film with a metallized barrier coating; available
in gauges of 12, 15, and 25µm.
