Gold Shield^® Products

For nearly two decades, Honeywell has combined aramid fiber with our patented Shield technology to offer the Gold Shield^® line of products. Gold Shield products are used throughout the world, providing excellent value and performance in a variety of applications.

Honeywell's Gold Flex^®, GA-2010 and GN-2117 Gold Shield products are soft armor offerings designed to meet the requirements of tactical and concealable vests, as well as other soft armor applications. Recently introduced, GN-2117 is lighter in weight, yet provides increased surface durability and chemical resistance, allowing it to meet the toughest global body armor standards.

Honeywell's GV-2016 and GV-2112 Gold Shield products are available for hard armor applications, such as helmet or vehicle armor programs. Both products feature Honeywell's patented shield technology, to provide excellent ballistic performance against a variety of threats.

Honeywell also offers several Gold Shield products containing DuPont^™ Kevlar^® fiber. These products include Gold Flex^® with Kevlar^®, Gold Shield^® GN-2118 with Kevlar^® and Gold Shield^® GV-2018 with Kevlar^®. The Gold Shield^® with Kevlar^® product line combines the proven Gold Shield technology with the well-recognized brand and performance of DuPont^™ Kevlar^® fiber, to provide customers with a second supply option for these Gold Shield materials.
