Spectra Shield® and Spectra Shield® II products employ Spectra® fiber in Shield technology for hard armor applications such as rigid armor plates, breastplates, collars, and other inserts. Spectra Shield® SR-1226 ballistic material offers a significant performance improvement over our original PCR product.

 

Honeywell also offers two hard armor products under its high performance Spectra Shield® II product line. SR-3124 provides one of the best available performance / weight ratios, while SR-3130 also provides excellent ballistic performance with an increased level of rigidity.


Gold Shield® products are also available to optimize the performance / cost ratio for hard armor applications.
