Through the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® initiatives and our self-guided planning, Honeywell Specialty Materials continuously integrates environment-preserving measures into our operations. This includes risk assessment, supply chain evaluation, secure product handling and transportation, ongoing technical support and accountability for individual and public safety. In developing future strategies, we continuously assess and evaluate the conditions affecting our business including how our business affects the natural world.

Not only does Honeywell Specialty Materials account for the environment in our operations, but several of our products are also contributing to a healthier world. For example, Honeywell Specialty Materials is a leader in the production of non-ozone depleting hydrofluorocarbons, which serve as an alternative to previous generations of chemicals that negatively impacted the environment.
