Career
A career in Manufacturing at Honeywell is much more than just making
products. Honeywell looks at Manufacturing as one of four critical components
within our Integrated Supply Chain. The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC)
encompasses all product-related activities from the time a customer places an
order to the time they receive it. Four principles — plan, source, make, and
deliver — support the ISC function. To gain a true understanding of
manufacturing at Honeywell, you need to understand how the four principles work
together. Manufacturing careers at Honeywell also encourages ISC employees to
communicate, collaborate, and use Six Sigma and Lean principles to ensure that
our products are made correctly and efficiently, and are delivered to our
customers on time, every time.
Manufacturing careers at Honeywell allow and encourage employees to
experience all four principles of ISC in order to hone all of the critical
skills required for manufacturing leaders.

and the same is true in HTT. With a mission of being the premier provider of

Career Path
Career paths with HTT Manufacturing vary greatly. Employees can choose to
specialize within one discipline of ISC such as operations planning, and
gradually plan for larger and more complex operations. In addition, employees
interested in leadership follow a career path that lets them touch each ISC
pillar. In fact, many career paths in Manufacturing support and encourage
lateral moves that follow the product cycle rather than just upward movement
into the management ranks. Regardless of where you work, or your ISC discipline
in HTT Manufacturing, you are part of a global team that works and shares ideas
across time zones and continents.
For example, a senior leader with a background in Quality and Engineering
joined Honeywell Turbo Technologies in 1995 as a technical operations manager
focused on plant growth management in Atessa, Italy. Two years later, he became
Plant Manager for Atessa, where he spent three years working and learning from
his global peers to make Atessa a successful operation. After learning the
benefit of sharing best practices from country to country, in 2000 he was made
the Operations leader for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region located in
Brussels, Belgium. Presently, his reports span the globe, from France, Italy,
Romania, and Ireland, to Spain, India and the UK, with peers in China and the
United States. His key priorities are to continue to increase productivity
across the region while understanding and meeting customer requirements.
