Alex Ismail - President and CEO, Transportation Systems

Alex Ismail is President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems, one of Honeywell's four reported strategic business groups and a global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative automotive technologies and world-class branded automotive aftermarket products. He was named to this role in April 2009.

Previously, Ismail served as President of Honeywell Turbo Technologies, the leading developer of turbocharging technology in the world. Ismail also served as President of the Turbo Technologies Global Passenger Vehicles Segment and as Vice President and General Manager of Turbo Technologies for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India regions.

Ismail joined Honeywell in 1997 in Honeywell's aerospace business and held various positions in the US and in Europe before joining Honeywell's turbocharging business in 1999. Prior to joining Honeywell, Ismail served for six years in the textile industry.

Ismail holds a B.A in Finance from the University of Dauphine (France), and an MBA from the HEC School of Management in France. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
