Honeywell's metrology approach has been developed over five decades, primarily
through operation of a series of internal laboratories established to support
the larger mission of the facility in which they operate. We developed
methodologies that enable us to improve the quality of metrology service, while
reducing the overall cost of the metrology program to our customers. We have
since taken this metrology model into the commercial marketplace, delivering
value and performance to our commercial customers, HTSI is able to capitalize
on a highly trained workforce that includes a staff of personnel trained in
Precision Measuring Equipment Laboratories (PMEL) and over 50 years of combined
experience using both the METCAL and MEASURE programs.
We understand that metrology is a critical support function that should perform
its role in an "operations-friendly" manner, acting as an enabler as
the customer executes the primary mission of their organization. To this end,
we focus on ensuring that accurate instruments are routinely available where
and when needed, and that necessary "priority" calibrations are
performed promptly.

value in innovative, high-quality, cost-effective solutions by continually
measuring and improving our work processes. Metrology Services Personnel will
be familiar with the Quality documentation and execute the policies and
procedures stated therein. Metrology Services personnel are committed to the
compliance of ISO 10012, ANSI/NCSL Z540 (U.S.A. only), and for A2LA accredited
labs, ISO/IEC 17025

Capabilities

Our network of metrology labs are able to certify items spanning the three
major disciplines of Dimensional, Electrical and Physical. The equipment
calibrated ranges from simple micrometers, multimeters and pressure gauges to
highly complex and custom ATE and inspection fixturing. Providing services to
both commercial and government customers, our labs process over 150,000 items
each year.

Take Control
|

By providing internet access to our metrology database, HTSI empowers our
customers to really take control of their metrology operation. Our powerful web
software allows customers to print duplicate calibration certificates, schedule
pickups or shipments, and have full visibility of their equipment throughout
the calibration process! This service is available to all of our customers.
